val, as usual, is still lazy to blog.

but, since val pities the poor neglected blog (and perhaps some people out there eagerly waiting for posts XD), she has decided to put some random sentences here, hoping to make enough sense at the same time.

so far, val is doing very well and is very happy here.

she’s still living in the bliss of the recent CNY hype and celebration. it was fun, warm, and filling (tummy terms). bwahahahha.

val has been very busy too. tests, assignments, presentations, emcee engagements, solar drums practices, events.

because of all the happenings, val feels like she hasnt spent enough time fostering relationships with her friends that she cares about.

she’d trade off the time spent on the vain business and invest more time on people instead.

but val is thankful for getting an extra day for her weekend. val has absolutely no classes on fridays! though that day is often filled up with some activity or another. >.<

at least val can take time off for morning walks and dwg. she loves that best. learning to appreciate occasional solitude. (: lalala.. she hears Him better then.

val has been going through many ups and downs. emotionally&spiritually. God has been faithful and val has learnt much from all these experiences.

val is kissing dating goodbye and learning to pursue greater things for greater things to come. His way is the most beautiful..till val meets the right one at the right time..where He continues to lead the way. (:

val is feeling very blessed by so many people who care. beloved family, evey bestie, roomie, spiritual buddies..and many others. life is made so much more meaningful with them supporting her.

val continues to count grace.

yes…i’ve stopped blogging fer the longest time. been so LAZY!

just popping by to basically update those who are interested in knowing what’s been happening to me and whether i’m doing fine. answer - yesh!

i’ve been in INTI-UC nilai since july1st. been really enjoying life here, even though we’re all encaved in this little God-forsaken town of kecik nilai. honestly, it’s the simplest town i’ve been to. funny thing though, it seems to have more roundabouts than all of JB’s put together. here we have a couple of kopitiams nearby and 2 big mamaks. enough to make val and her tummy happy. it’s val’s pocket-friendly too! things here are way cheaper than subang jaya, where i used to stay fer college. i’m doubly happy cos i can eat all i can as the campus area here has many sporting facilities to help me balance my input and output! (hoo! kiss zhifangs goodbye!..i hope) we play pingpong, basketball, badminton and swim! gee i have no excuse of gaining weight anymore! wahahahaha..zy will be so proud of me!^^ as for our stock supplies, it comes from the local giant and pasarmalam - which is basically all that we have. haha! just realized how easily contented i can be..cos i get excited at the thought of pasarmalam every friday! or perhaps the other days before friday as well (:

there are a couple of clubs that i joinned, along with minmin(my roomie), phingphing, jo-anne(neighbor dearest), fi, sulin and my other friends..solar drums!, STACT club, chinese cultural society. landed up with the publicity post for both STACT and CCS. haa!

i’m also happily blessed with a great family here! mummy(shiong gee), daddy(alvin), dai kor(kokhong), daidaikor(quiwan), dai jie(sky), daidaijie(zisen). (:

as for church, am currently attending this student church formed by the 1stbaptist church nearby at nilai international college. the worship atmosphere there is great! it has this exciting gospel feel, influenced by the group of nigerians worshipping there as well, but nicely intergrated with our local style of worship. refreshing! although the congregation is small, it doesn really matter cos we’re all gathered with one heart, one mind! (:

it’s funny reading about what i wrote in my last paragraph on my last post..saying that i’ll resume to regular blogging..hahas…and ironically here i am blogging my next entry about 6months after! oh well..nowadays not really in much of a mood to blog..suddenly felt a necessity to keep my life a lil more private..but my hands were just itchy so came in here to do a lil resuscitation to muh blog and we’ll see how long it’ll last next hee..

i might come in here and blog a lil about my happenings here in kl and college to update my friends who might be interested to drop by here and who actually care to know wassup with me ..but as i said..not in the mood now..so saving it for next time!

syepp! aah i smell the sweet essence of my come back. great to be revived! from the deadness of my absence=] hee!

aah so much have been happening..especially in this long duration of my break of not being able to go on9..shall take a ‘nong nong’ time updating everything..but sparing all readers out there..shall just blog for my own private entries.=] but this i gotta say. my stuuupid friggin computer back home have unfaithfully died out on me at such a crucial time - the hols!! i reckon it’s merajukin from my long negligence due to setara.=[so yep now gotta use eve's comp to blog down my long due entry. sigh.

and of course..have to blog about the highlights of my hols..HLCE FAMILY CAMP 2006! it was held in awana genting this year over three days and it was AAAWWWEESOMEEE! we had to do 4 worship sessions throughout the whole camp..so was rather tiring but heyy ..fulfilling!!=] was great to have the whole revelation band back at work together and just having fun fun FUN serving God together=] we hardly had anytime to rest and had to rush through meals for practice but spending those times together was definitely worth it=]]]] and of course lots of thanks to CHOC CAKE CHUAH CHER SHIONG-ie boy for putting in so much effort in making sure all the technical aspects instruments were at its best^-^ tanxxxxx!! ^-^ n hmm speaker this round was Dr Chew. all his talks were very realistic yet inspirational.=] fuuh really felt God speaking straight into my heart<3 other programs were like games and performances. the younger ones did the ‘amazing race’. moi led my group to victory! three cheers for micah
!!=]] and dad’s group, samuel, did pretty well in the performances by the oldies too! haha.. so cute sia! especially dr koh’s group=] lol! that’s basically all i guess. can’t wait for youth camp end of this year! m so so camp sick now=\

next was HLCC VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL(VBS) at Tadika Bethel. even chers and sebs came to help out this year. lol.kids had fun ba..but was so so so super tiring all day. gee..especially cause of this boy named Henderson. terror boy sia! never hv i feared a kid this much. naughtiness to the max la=\ oh well..but the goodies we each brought home sure compensated for it!=]

saturday went to s’pore and visited my cutsie lil nephew!! yuji’s like grown so so much since i last visited him and have become wey cute!!owh lurfe him so much!! he chuckles!! like only in his second month! whats more he actually discovered his thumb and now sucks it 24/7. haa!

monday was pamzy, eli and sarah jane’s confirmation! couldn’t make it though. had to go to kempas with joanna’s family and auntie hongchoo and uncle seng chor to have BIG PAU for breakfast!!! yummy yumm yumm!! had timsum to go with it as well. hee! shiok! then we went to my auntie’s house and we all laid hands and prayed for her. she had an operation done last tuesday to remove some cancer cells in her womb but thank God !! all went well and successfully so she’s now in recovery! and the prayer was so powerful and touching..hee me broke into tears. next was pastor raymond’s house. we went there to pray for him as well. he’s doing fine after his minor heart attck a week ago. praise God! and oh oh..there’s this conjointing door to the house next door, occupied by their relative..and there’s this cute dog named suzie! owhh!!! so want a dog now!=]] later in the evening was pastor o’ceefe’s retirement dinner. had it in tropical inn. sze jing’s speech for him was so cute! argh lurfe him! hee wanted to kidnap him home=P oh well.the dinner went on pretty fine..except the eating part..so sad!! they had an extra table for those who registerred late..and since it was free sitting..we happened to sit at THAT table. so we got all the 2nd class food!=[ but was still nice enough la.we had fun kacauin chershiong and his 'good' skills at handling the mushrooms with his chopsticks. AHEM!..lol!

yepp tuesday and today was phototaking session for our school. so was getting gals for pics and taking pics as well..and had fun fun getting candid pictures taken..hee..the professional camera man must have been sick of us posing around nonstop crazziieeellyyy..hee..and of course partly cause we kept calling him mr. camera kor kor..hee..

haven’t been in the mood to blog for a long time..thus the following will be a long long update..will make it as short as possible. hee. keeping joylyn’s comment about me and my long-windedness in mind =P

13/3/06 :: our very first band practice. went on pretty okay i guess. but i definitely need polishing up. lots of it!=[

14-16/3/06 :: had to go to school during the holidays for work. interact. besides that me and prettylala met up with mr richard(the iritating tshirt maker) to get our interact shirt done. and mr richard being as irritating and irresponsible as ever..i was proud that my patience well passed the test. i DID NOT SCREAM AT HIM. phew! but now looking back at it..it seems that he really need one. a professional tshirt making man like himself can't even understand the computer and files containned inside for the design and awfully unethical as before(yesh i ahve encounterred this undesirable creature before..for last year's christmas concert)..he did not meet up to his deadline!! FRUSTRATION. its now long overdue and poor prettylala is feeling mad too.URGH~!   thank God the rest of the week was pleasant enough..despite the constant appearing of him in my mind..causing me to moan a lil..poor eve..had to hear that often=[ then on thursday after work in the morning..the band went for lunch at the wisma food court..had icekacang and mee soto! then we walked back all the way. mercy..vanessa and i sang 'the ants go marching' all the way back to school! fun sia!..hee..acting like kids of cos=P

15-18/3/06 :: well blogging this part is not much of a use cos..I DIDN'T GET TO GO FOR RYLA!! 5 of our juniors went but the rest of us couldn't make it cos we had to stayback to do work of cos. but the juniors enjoyed it alot and came back a different person individually. they learnt lots. and oh..the '5star' hotel rtrn koh jit huat promised wasn't much of a '5star' at all..haha!! community bath rooms some more!=P

the rest of the next week :: nothing much really..just interact work and to top it off..sidang work too! mann. was chased by cherry with the deadlines for the mag..felt so bad..and when i was done finally..en lim made me feel 'better' for rejecting my work. tq. anyway..hmm..can't really what else happened. oh okae on wednesday we went to berea for band practice and guess what..i sucked again.! this time worse still. =[ haih. gotta prac harder and harder. especially me!

21/3/06 :: 'this house believes that the 21th century does not promise a better life for the future generations' our school was negative and up against sigs. and we won! yippee!! zoey got best speaker..aah so proud of my gals!=] and well was madam speaker and elisha was timekeeper. so we had fun up there..and hee..i reckon i spoke TOO MUCH that day. hee. and well ms yap beat me to that of cos. boy i’d she uhm embarrassed us. gee. never felt that bad. shan’t elaborate further laa..sad thing.

23/3/06 :: we had interact meeting. briefing about iuday and community service for saturday. attendance for f5 is ..sigh..poor. f5s i feel..are taking alot of things for granted in the club. now that all the buzz and enthusiasm towards working hard to get posts and recognition within the club..people are starting to slack. sad case of cos.=[ but juniors are extremely hardworking and helpful..^.^ hope they continue so all the way till they reach f5..

25/3/06 :: community service at SKPE. was great! at least things went according to schedule and objectives were met. the interactors made good friends with the blind kids there and the kids thouroughly had fun too!=] we sang and played games and ate lots of titbits. haha..the eating caused us all to feel really sleepy at the end..so we dismissed a lil earlier and the kids went to nap. satisfaction!

at night had parenting bible study. ate pau for supper! nice!=]

26/3/06 :: today! well..was supposed to go for ‘chengmeng’ to visit my late grandparents and aunty..but didn’t go. mum went alone with the rest of her family instead. then she came back to send us for youth. was late. anyway..stef did worship. was great!! she really is improving lots..and was so touched i uhm cried..hee. God canr eally us us all so mightilly when we actually take the step to submit to HIM! =] after hat uncle ch’ng, joel and sui lan led us with a study on ‘how to handle the influence of entertainment’. got a new insight to it. hee TEETER-TOTTER haa! and of cos..it’s STEF’S BURFDAY!! her very first day at sweet sixteen. so she treated us all some kuih and stuff.=] and oh..sebastian had a makeover! contacts and cut his hair. shuai sia!!=P did ushering today. then dr chuah gave the sermon at main church.

that’s about all ba..this coming week we’re having photography session at school! whee! i love that time of the year…and my last year wey! so yepp a lil excited. haha..the last time i’d ever get to be on the magazine…unless of cos if i get the top scorer title for spm..i might get another year on a special page with interview.. aah dream dream. may my dream come true!

last saturday was at the HELP uni career exploration anb decision making seminar..well..found out more about my interest in psychology! and found out that lecturing(something i’d really enjoy doing) is suitable for me afterall!!=] but learning it at HELP? NO WAY! their lecturers can’t even speak proper english. blegh. well now back to square one..really not sure where i’m heading..and thanks to the over population of brilliant students nation wide and not forgetting their strings of A1s…life’s getting tougher. even if i get my straight a1s..it’s not a gurrantee to scholarships..sigh..only got punee 10 subjects..=[ how to compare myself to the giant academic achievers. gee..really gotta pray hard and study hard. yesh..definitely feeling pressure coming on.. and depression at the thought of local colleges and unis..thank God though my parents are not fans of em too..phew! HOPE. anyway.. went to the s'pore management university(SMU) with joy as well..was nice wey!...i like the style of learning and teaching there..too bad..haa..not into that kinda stream..

anyway..got lots to do for iuday now so gta chao already laa..nites!=]

and oh..yea i forgot..CONGRATS TO ALL SPM SCHOLARS!!! especially our ESTHER CHAN! fuuh genius fella woi..got national top! whoot! together with han ern sommore! haha.

acara padang fuuh was a frightening day for me…woke up in the morning feeling like puking and then all the way till the competition(longjump) i was just feeling nothing but butterflies in my tummy. urgh. had to go up against my junior’s batch..(they’re hell of a talent bunch laa..represent school in sports comps..and me..puuny lil val) at least when i’m up with my senior’s batch can still manage to get medals..this year?nothing but butterflies. well anyway..me and tab were in it together..haha..not so bad..got teman..well cut the story short..i got 5th..sobs=[..at least got some points for the house laa...not that bad..and for high jump..georgie got 3rd and chiew fong got 1st!!! chiew fong also got 3rd for lontar peluru...overall guess xaviers did pretty well for the acaras and managed to revive the points we lost during sukantara..phew.!

further preps we improved for marching!!! hee=] and well just had fun painting banners and stuff for sports day. sin ying(f3) was so so hardworking…! really grateful for her halp and all=] and plus cheering really impressed me loe..saw them training so hard and full of enthuciasm! seeing that glimpse of hope!! juivy was a great help too at getting the girls all pumped up and geared for the thing..aah just so proud of em^-^

sports day!! excitement EXCITEMENT!! the night before mum practised making me up..haha..was so red laa..like a femaile ghost cum suckling pig..good thing she had a testing session..otherwise on the morning itself would have been too late..haha..and so the day came! woke up very veyr early..5.05am…ate breakfast and washed up..then make up=] haha..mum made me red again..though not as much as before..but whatever laa..too late already..anywat made it to the stadium with sis at 6.30am..loads of people were there earlier already..anyway.can say that my entrance brought much interest to most of the people there…”oh my who’s that?” ”yen min laa” ”really? my goodness..!”      okae it was hard to tell whether the comments were positive ones in my morning blurness but better not wonder..hahaha.=P so went and find twinnies cause eunice was supposed to get dressed up too..(oh yea btw i wore this red cambodian suit..hee nice=]) and eunice didn’t even conclude what she was supposed to wear before that..so yea had to choose her dress..bluish green cheongsam=] nice! and got the shawl for her too=]..so yea soon after abigail was there so she did my hair..she has wonder hands la i tell you!..so so talented..got my hair done like a professional so fast! everyone was impressed with it.BIIGGG thanks abi!!!=]=] and while was getting my hair done..spotted patrick’s sepanduk decorating in process..LOL! they were plucking leaves from nearby trees and getting em stucked to the sepanduk..lol…cute wey..looked pretty good in the end…hahah..! so after my hair was done..entered the stadium..wished everyone happy CNY cause my costume and sepanduk definitely supported the theme=] hee..pn emilda gave me a whack on ht eback for that..pam said i looked ten years older..and joy called me an auntie..what de>??! haha..thank god the rest of the comments were nice ones..anywya..marching started after the 1.5km run..aah as usual veno got it..she was like super girl laa..*salute!*=] all houses sent about 7participants..except michaels with one..hee. gave last minute pep tlk tot he marches and off we went! did well and was proud of the girls!=-]

then changed and went to the grand stand and directed the girls with cheers..was glad to see everyone so semangat=-] and i was way high on glucose! hahaha..last year so didn’t wanna regret not shouting my lungs out=P saw fadzir and gang trying to get in but got chased away by the prefects..but of course..like every other years..they all got in anyway through other entrances..HAA! but kaypo people i must say=P then went and hold the banners for the cheering girls..funfunfunFUN! did it with priscy and we goofed out mannn!! haha..just went all out wacky!=P and the girls did so well!!! super entertaining!=]

huiting ran the 800m and din do as well as the others but we’re both proud of her cos she did her best=]

and the results!>>>we got 1st for cheering..2nd for marching…and many many golds…and and CHAMPS OVERALL!!!! AGAIN!!

after that had a 4hours long interact bod meeting at anna’s..fuuh tiring. and auntie anna was so kind to cook us food for free!=] and came early just to open the stall for us. tanx auntie!!

today din go to school..my first ponteng in more than a year!! but yea  was having a headache..major..but went to school after that for interact meeting..2girls were dismissed from the club..haih…

okay la..now gota get back to studying=] nites y’all!!
